Sierra Nevada Children’s Services (SNCS—fondly pronounced snicks) has a Child Development Resource Library available at all locations (Grass Valley, Truckee, and Loyalton) to the public. The library is open to the public and is filled with a variety of developmentally appropriate toys and materials for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age children and children with special needs that can be borrowed by parents, child care providers and professionals for use at home or school. Also available are books, DVD’s, a Die Cut(in G.V.) and videos on a variety of educational and parenting topics.
