Please simply describe your event without superlatives or advertising phrases.  Simply inform our readers what will occur at your event.  For instance, if your event is a concert:  Just tell our readers who will be performing.  Don't tell us that the performers are the greatest band since The Beatles.
We publish only those events that are appropriate for our family paper.  Generally, we give publishing priority to free events over paid events. We also only publish information about special events, not ongoing classes.  We reserve the right to edit your submission or refuse to publish it at our sole discretion. We only have so much room to publish our calendar.  Please do not be offended if your event does not make it into the Post.
